Senior Aquaculture Officer

Please be informed that WWF-Vietnam is seeking for capable candidate for the position of  Senior Aquaculture Officer (based in Can Tho city, Vietnam)

The Senior Aquaculture Officer will support to WWF efforts on responsible aquaculture projects and programme.

Key requirements:

• A MSc degree or higher in fisheries, aquaculture or related subjects
• A minimum of 3-year experience working on environment and/or aquaculture in Vietnam
• Proven understanding of issues of relevance to responsible aquaculture including environment and social issues
• Experience in the ASC standards of shrimp, tilapia or pangasius farming as advantage
• Links with the aquaculture private sector and its stakeholders in the supply chains
• Previous working experience with international organizations
• Enthusiasm and motivation
• Networking & Team work skills
• Good reporting, communications and negotiation skills
• Good planning, organization, time management, facilitation and coordination skills
• Fluency in written and spoken English
