Senior Business Development Manager – Australian Trade and Investment Commission

Location: Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City

Austrade Vietnam is recruiting for a Senior Business Development Manager (SBDM) with experience in the agriculture and food sectors. Austrade supports qualified Australian businesses through their international expansion journey to go further, faster. The opportunity is for up to 2 years (or until 30 June 2023, whichever is earlier)

The Senior Business Development Manager will work with teams in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi to provide services to Australian companies looking to expand to Vietnam, including providing advice on market conditions, market entry strategies, potential partners and the government regulatory environment in Vietnam; conducting market research, coordinating visit programs; and providing in-market support.

The position requires high level of spoken and written English and Vietnamese skills, tertiary qualification(s) and/or minimum eight years’ experience in a trade and business development, foreign investment, investor relations or related role, preferably within an investment / professional services environment.

This is a locally-engaged position subject to Vietnamese labour law and is available for only Vietnamese nationals.
