Senior Human Resources Officer
The Embassy of Australia in Hanoi is seeking applications for the Locally Engaged Staff (LES) position of Senior Human Resources Officer for the Corporate Management Section. The successful applicant will initially be employed on a full-time contract for a period of 12 months with the possibility of an extension.
The Senior Human Resources Officer, reporting directly to the First Secretary and Consul, will lead the country office team in Vietnam.
The position will be at the Classification of LE6 with a starting monthly gross salary of VND46,500,000.

Applications should address the selection criteria in no more than two-page statement and provide a brief resume of no more than three-page with details of two referees. SELECTION CRITERIA
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate that they have the following attributes:
1. Proven experience in HR operational and management functions in a medium to large organisation;
2. Substantial knowledge and understanding of Vietnamese Labour code and human resources management best practices;
3. Capacity to think analytically, strategically and strong judgement for making sound decisions on tasks/assignments with considerable complexity and sensitivity;
4. Strong ability to take initiative, coordinate and prioritize among multiple simultaneous assignments;
5. Demonstrated capacity to work independently and as part of a team and to meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment;
6. High level of attention to details and strong sense of sensibility and confidentiality; and
7. High level communication (in both English and Vietnamese), and influencing skills with the ability to write clearly, quickly and convey information to a variety of audiences in a cross-cultural context;
