Vacancy: Senior Project Officer
Based in Da Nang

They are looking for a motivated qualified Vietnamese national for the position of Senior Project Officer for the project of Empowering People with Disabilities. The successful candidate will be based in Da Nang with travels to the fields.

Job Purpose
Senior Project Officer is responsible for ensuring effective project implementation and achieving project objective in close coordination with partners by conducting regular monitoring and reporting on the progress. The responsibilities include project design and planning, financial management, partner management and field office operation. Senior Project Officer will be responsible for employment of People with Disabilities; organizing trainings and workshops on enterprises and People with Disabilities; he/she also be responsible for results of all the events and communication campaigns at both provincial and community levels; he/she will maintain a critical role in monitoring the program activities and results; and support the partners.

Person specifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in social or economic studies, foreign languages or related field.
- A minimum of four years of professional experience in project management and implementation in related field.
- Demonstrated capacity to work in a team environment as well as ability to work independently, focused on maintaining high quality work.
- Experiences in successful implementation of a wide range of tasks within a project environment with tight timeframes and under pressure.
- Working experiences with job training and job service centers and employment of people with disabilities is preferable.
- Good English in both speaking and writing skills.
- Strong Vietnamese verbal and written communication skills.
- Good computer skills; MS office, PowerPoint. Experiences with statistical software are preferred.
