Aus4Skills

The goal of Aus4Skills is to support Vietnam to access and use high level professional and technical knowledge, skills and competencies, to contribute to the country’s sustainable economic and inclusive development. The program also aims to deepen Vietnamese and Australian people-to-people and institutional links and therefore strengthen the partnership between the two countries.

Aus4Skills is managed by Tetra Tech International Development on behalf of Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).

Key responsibilities

  • Provide reception services such as answer incoming telephone calls and arrange outgoing calls when requested
  • Responsible for arranging official documents for international staff/visitors, i.e. visa application, visa extension & visa support letters, ensuring visa list is updated
  • Responsible management of monthly utility usages such as telephones, stationery, photocopy etc., and ensuring timely payment is made
  • Maintain contacts with Government bodies and with external suppliers such as tickets, stationery, hotels, visas services, representative officer, etc.
  • Assist with the logistical arrangements for all program events, briefings, meetings
  • Assist with travel and accommodation arrangements of Aus4Skills staff, advisers, overseas personnel as appropriate
  • Deal with suppliers to obtain quotations for Australian Award Scholarships (AAS), alumni and other events, administrative goods and services
  • Other duties as reasonably required by Managers

Selection criteria

  • University degree or other equivalent training, including on the job training, is desirable
  • More than 2-4 years working in similar positions including experience in general office administration and reception duties
  • Experience in dealing with multiple clients, preferably in the development assistance sector
  • Extensive experience working in finance administration (including accounts payable)
  • A good level of oral and written English
