Short-term National Consultancy to Support with Marketing, Branding and Packaging of Centella Asiatica Vegetable

Title: Short-term national consultancy to support Quang Tho Cooperative No2 in Quang Dien district with marketing, branding and packaging of Centella Asiatica vegetable

Maximum budget: VND 120 Million (taxes included)– performance period of two months

With financial support from the Governments of Viet Nam and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, the CLIMATE ADAPTED LOCAL DEVELOPMENT AND INNOVATION PROJECT – VIE/033 -- launches a call for EOI for the acquisition of services for a short-term national consultancy assignment “To support Quang Tho Cooperative No2 in Quang Dien district with marketing, branding and packaging of Centella Asiatica vegetable”.

Service providers that are invited to express their interest (EOI) to offer the services mentioned above shall be (2) individual consultants. In their EOI, they will demonstrate their technical capacity and experience as per the following requirements:

• Business expert: minimum Master’s Degree in agricultural economics, marketing, business development or another relevant business-related subject… with possible specialisation in value chain analysis, marketing, branding and packaging, or a related field;
• Designer: Bachelor’s Degree in design, with demonstrated artistic skills and an innovative and creative mind;
• Proven experience and up to date knowledge and expertise in advising and supporting businesses, coops, organisations, etc… with branding, marketing, packaging of products, etc.
• Experience with training and coaching in these focus areas, especially to coops and their members;
• Be sensitive and responsive to the specific needs and demands of the client, and be able to easily adapt strategies and approaches to these needs.
• Strong analytical skills, specifically in conducting field assessments, value chain analysis and similar survey techniques;
• Excellent communication, networking, interpersonal and facilitation skills;
• 
  Demonstrated experience in writing concise and focused research reports, both in English and Vietnamese.

The start of the contract is foreseen for 25 October and to terminate on 25 December 2014. Service providers must be available for the entire period foreseen and are expected to work in Hue City and Quang Dien, Phu Vang and Phu Loc districts, Thua Thien Hue province.

The maximum budget available for this contract is VND 120 million (taxes included).

Interested consultants are invited to submit sufficient documentation (updated CVs relating to this assignment and EOI letter) in response to the selection criteria. The shortlist of candidates to be invited to submit a complete proposal will consist of those consultants with highest qualification and rank against the selection criteria.
