Short-term National Consultant on Older People and other Population & Development Issues (4 months)

In the 2012 annual work-plan, UNFPA’s Population and Development (PD) Team will provide technical support to conduct research and survey on older people issues, advocacy and capacity building on ageing and older people issues, development of intervention models on care for and promotion of roles of older people to be implemented at Hai Duong and Ben Tre provinces, and related work on other population issues. UNFPA is therefore seeking a short-term national consultant who has knowledge and experience in population and development, and older people issues to provide support in monitoring, technical assistance and coordination to the implementation of these activities.

The selected national consultant will work for a total estimated 4 months starting from 1 October 2012 to 31 January 2013. The selected consultant will work full-time at UNFPA office in Hanoi with possible travel to provinces (Hai Duong, Ben Tre and other relevant provinces).
