Sponsorship Field Project Assistants (3 positions)

We are looking for Vietnamese national for:

  • Position: 3 Sponsorship Field Project Assistants
  • Location: Lao Cai

Main Responsibilities:

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following but not limited. Other duties that are in line with relevant skills, experience and role may be assigned by Line Manager and SMT’s members.

  • Office Management:
    Maintain filing system for assigned sub-grant
    Provide interpretation and translation (when needed)
  • Program Implementation
    • Carry out MEL activities and give feedbacks to partners after field visit in consultation with project officers so that partner implement program activities of high quality, timeliness and cost effectiveness, for an overall goal of the program ‘Disadvantaged children are able to fully develop through high-quality and sustainable care and education’;
    • Support partner in implementing and managing sub-grant and support partners to maximize the effectiveness of the program;
    • Support development of MEAL plan (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning) and  collaborate with MEAL focal person in implementation of MEAL plan;
    • Work closely with partners and remind them that burn rate is strictly followed according to the approved plan monthly, quarterly and yearly.
    • Conduct supervision of project activities as per sub-grant assign.
  • Sponsorship Field Operations (when required)
    • Support community orientation, child enrolment, child eligibility tracking following Child Information
    • Management Plan and coordination of Sponsorship operation focal person
    • Support communications between sponsors and sponsored children in coordination with
    • Sponsorship Communication focal person
  • Others
    • Other tasks as assigned by Line Manager

Qualifications & Experiences

Essential

  • Good spoken and written English language skills,
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Word and Excel are required),
  • Customer-oriented, supportive
  • Positive working and learning attitude
  • Faithfulness, hard-working, details oriented, good interpersonal skill and ability to work in a team
  • Good communication skill
  • Commitment to Save the Children values

Desirable

  • Experience in communications including taking photos, writing and development of communication materials.
  • Field-based working experience with ethnic minorities.
