RECRUITMENT FOR SPONSORSHIP SERVICES OFFICER

Good Neighbors is an international, non-profit humanitarian organization that plans, implements and raises funds for the provision of services in child education, community development, health, sanitation, and disaster relief projects working in 45 countries.

Good Neighbors International in Vietnam (GNI) is implementing Community Development Projects (CDP) based on child sponsorship in 5 provinces: Ha Giang, Tuyen Quang, Hoa Binh, Thanh Hoa and Ho Chi Minh city. We focus on education, water & sanitation, income generation sectors in different areas of Vietnam.

Reports to: Project Manager, SS Team Manager

 

 

1. KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

Internal

External

Country Director, General Director, Division Managers/Team Managers/ Officers in HO, PMs, CDP Officers

GNI’s Donors, Partners, Governmental Officials, INGOs, Communities.

2. MAIN DUTIES
  • Be in charge of managing sponsored children in Quang Binh CDP by regularly updating the situation of the children as planned or requested;
  • Implement all related activities to provide children's information to sponsors and provide direct services for sponsored children; conduct other child protection activities and programs according to the plan's schedule and budget;
  • Work on making Annual Plan of Action (POA) of the project;
  • Work closely with managers and staff in Head office;
  • Ensure the efficiency of implementing project activities: making plans, writing proposals, carrying, monitoring, evaluating and writing reports;
  • Work directly with related local partners to facilitate the implementation of any activities;
  • Provide guidance to ensure that partners and other participants follow GNI’s regulations properly during activity implementation
  • Manage the activity budget and check the process of disbursement as planned
  • Perform other tasks assigned by managerial levels;

3. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Education: University degree in Education, Social work and other related fields.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of similar role;
  • Knowledge about eco-social situation in working area
  • Previous experience in working with children or working for an NGO is a priority.

 

Skills

  • English communication lever;
  • Good communication and presentation skills;
  • Proficient in office computer skills and software;
  • Plan-making and presentation skills.

Attitude

  • Enthusiastic in work;
  • Friendly, honest and hard-working;
  • Eager to learn.
