RECRUITMENT FOR SPONSORSHIP SERVICES OFFICER

Good Neighbors is an international, non-profit humanitarian organization that plans, implements and raises funds for the provision of services in child education, community development, health, sanitation, and disaster relief projects working in 45 countries.

Good Neighbors International in Vietnam (GNI) is implementing Community Development Projects (CDP) based on child sponsorship in 5 provinces: Ha Giang, Tuyen Quang, Hoa Binh, Thanh Hoa and Ho Chi Minh city. We focus on education, water & sanitation, and income generation sectors in different areas of Vietnam.

2. MAIN DUTIES

Data Management and Services for Son Duong CDP and GNI Child Data Management Program Lead

1.    Data Management and CMS System

  • Manage and be responsible for processing data in the CMS (Child Management System)
  • Serve as the main point of contact in the Head office for reports on activities: Letters & Gifts for Children (GML), Annual Child Letters (ACL), Annual Progress Reports (APR), New Children (CIF). This includes:
  1. Contacting GPC and GNK for guidance and reporting on CMS operational issues.
  2. Translating annual program documents and guidelines, training CDP staff on annual activities including ACL, APR, GML, CIF...
  3. Responsible for checking and reviewing reports and carrying out monthly GML activities for each CDP.
  4. Responsible for checking and reviewing ACL, APR, CIF reports for Son Duong area and providing general support to other areas if necessary.
  • Responsible for Sponsor visits to children.

2.    Services

  • Oversee services for sponsored children in Son Duong, including: Home Visits, Volunteer Network Management, Annual Gifts, Health Check-ups - Specialized Check-ups, Nutrition Support, Vocational Training, and extracurricular activities at school (if any)
  • Support record management in CDP and HO: To review reports submitted from the project and provide feedback on Home Visits, Special Cases Supported, volunteer network in CDP and HO

3.    M&E Project SS Activities

  • Research and review feedback from assigned CDP projects
  • Conduct field visits to monitor and evaluate assigned areas.
  • Prepare reports based on the plan achieved according to the plan. Report on SS improvement project.
  • Receive feedback from the project and check with other members of the SS team then file properly.
  • Review assigned reports from projects and submit them to SS Team Manager.
  • Check project emails regularly, share with the team and stakeholders.

4.    SS Specialty

  • Properly file/archive official documents, reports, and materials
  • Disburse notices and reports to projects in a timely manner.
  • Develop guidelines for activities in charge
  • Be prepared to work on any specific tasks assigned by management.

3. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Education

  • University degree in Education, Social work and other related fields.

Work experience

  • Minimum 1 year of a similar role
  • Able to work under high pressure and solve the arising problem.

Skills

  • Ability to work independently and with the team;
  • Good organizing skills and interpersonal skills;
  • Good English language skills in writing & speaking
  • Good skills in computer use

Attitude

  • Sociable and responsive
  • Accountable and transparent.
  • Committed working with GNI at least 2 years.
