TENDER NOTICE:  AA BATTERIES-AA RECHARGABLE BATTERIES-AA BATTERY CHARGERS

Project: USAID Biodiversity Conservation – Tender Ref 18.21

WWF-Viet Nam is implementing the USAID Vietnam Biodiversity Conservation project, a 5-year USAID funded project implemented in partnership with Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD), the provincial governments and other implementing partners. Targeting high conservation value forests in Quang Nam, TT Hue, Quang Tri, Quang Binh, Ha Tinh and Lam Dong provinces and Cat Tien and Cuc Phuong National Parks. Under the approved scope of work of the USAID Biodiversity Conservation, WWF-Viet Nam is launching an open tender to select a supplier of AA Batteries-AA chargeable batteries- AA batteries chargers.

WWF-Viet Nam would like to invite prospective bidders to submit sealed bids for 3,750 packs of AA Energizer batteries (or equivalent model/brand), 3,750 packs of AA panasonic eneloop rechargeable batteries (or equivalent model/brand), and 120 sets of AA panasonic batteries chargers (or equivalent model/brand) to be delivered to Hanoi, Hue, Quang Nam, Lam Dong - Viet Nam.

This bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in this Invitation for Bids Document, and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the USAID Standard Provisions M6 – Procurement Policies for Non-U.S based Organizations.  The Geographic code 937 applies to the USAID BCA project. Therefore, procurement sources must be from the United States, Viet Nam, and developing countries other than advanced developing countries, but excluding any country, that is a prohibited source.

Any bid received by the Purchaser after the deadline for submission of bids shall be declared late, rejected, and returned unopened to the Bidder.
