Team Leader; Monitoring and Evaluation Officer; Communications Officer; Finance and Grants Officer and Executive Assistant/Office Manager

The Asia Foundation is a non-profit, non-governmental organization committed to the development of a peaceful, prosperous, and open Asia-Pacific region. We are currently seeking applications for five positions in the area of Governance and Civil Society; a Program Manager, Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, Communications Officer, Finance and Grants Officer and Executive Assistant/Office Manager. The team will work under the direct supervision of the Country Representative to develop, manage and monitor a set of research and project activities in Vietnam.

Ideal candidates should have a good understanding of the legal and regulatory environment in Vietnam, familiarity with governance and civil society issues in Vietnam, and experience in working in and/or interacting with relevant Vietnamese organizations, government agencies and research institutions. Project implementation experience working for an international organization and a relevant postgraduate degree are helpful. In addition to the above, position-specific desirable qualifications include:

Team Leader
Experience leading a team developing and managing complex programs in the development sector. Deep knowledge of governance and civil society issues in Vietnam.

Monitoring and Evaluation Officer
Strong command of monitoring and evaluation techniques and systems in social development issues.  Experience designing and implementing monitoring and evaluation strategies.

Communications Officer
Proven experience in developing and implementing communications strategies. Strong understanding of the media and contemporary social and development issues  in Vietnam. 

Finance and Grants Officer
At least 5 years experience in grant making and monitoring within an international development setting. Familiarity with international donor audit and reporting requirements

Executive Assistant/Office Manager
Flexible and capable of taking on a variety of tasks with at least 3 years experience in an international setting.
