INTRODUCTION
INTRACO is an organization that develops projects in the field of renewable energy and sustainable production. This includes projects related to biomass and biogas based thermal energy generation and utilization at industrial facilities, electricity generation from renewable resources and introduction of new production methods in industry that reduce environmental pollution and contribute to sustainable development.
The projects of INTRACO are subject to specific standards such as ISO 9001 and methodologies of the Clean Development Mechanism that is defined in the Kyoto Protocol. Therefore they are looking for experienced, qualified and motivated Vietnamese candidates who are committed to working long-term for the position described below.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the overall supervision of the Registration Manager, the Technical Monitoring and Reporting Officer will primarily drive and achieve the objective of successful monitoring and verification of the projects of INTRACO. In particular the Technical Monitoring and Reporting Officer will, inter alia:
- Establish the policy and procedures for each project that are compliant with the standards and methodologies applicable to the project.
- Ensure all projects are implemented and operated compliant with the standards, regulations and methodologies applicable to the project.
- Ensure the implementation of the project goals and outputs, and if not possible, suggest necessary changes in the design of the project or monitoring plan.
- Monitor and verify projects according to the provisions provided in standards and mechanisms such as ISO 9001 and the Clean Development Mechanism defined in the Kyoto Protocol.
- Ensure that all projects have sufficient digital monitoring devices and ensure that these are installed, operated and calibrated correctly.
- Prepare technical monitoring reports.
- Coordinate data collection and establish a quality assurance and validation process (collection, entry and capacity building of staff in data collection, management and documentation).
- Ensure activity proposals and reports include qualitative and quantitative data collected.
- Collaborate and coordinate with colleagues monitoring and process quality improvements related to monitoring, based on the lessons learned and new insights gained during the work.
- Work together with the project owner at the project site to ensure correct implementation, monitoring, calibration in compliance with standards and methodologies applicable to the project.
- Travel to the project sites for validation, verification and as required otherwise for correct preparation and implementation of the project.
- Write and develop overall and specific monitoring and verification documentation and monitor its correct and timely implementation and submission to designated entities along the whole project development cycle.
- Collect and provide accurate and complete data/documents needed for the development of the project and validation or verification of correctness by third parties.
- Liaise with other stakeholders, as required.
- Perform other related duties, as required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor Degree or Higher Degree in Environmental Engineering,
- Environmental Economics or other technically related disciplines.
- Open minded and willing to 'learn by doing'
- Friendly personality
- One to three year experience in project based environments
- Excellent working knowledge of Vietnamese and English.
- Excellent computer skills, with particular relevance to Word, Excel and Power Point.
- Willing to travel
- Ability of working independently with minimum supervision in a fast paced environment
- Ability to working with people of different national and cultural backgrounds
- Experience in organizing and coordinating meetings/missions and in preparing/editing written reports in English.

Previous work experience in (projects related to) renewable energy, sustainable production, energy efficiency, quality management, cleaner production, ISO standards or Clean Development Mechanism methodologies and brick manufacturing is an advantage.

RENUMERATION:
A remuneration package in line with qualifications and experiences will be negotiated with the selected candidate.
