CHEMONICS INTERNATIONAL SEEKS TECHNICAL SPECIALISTS FOR AN ANTICIPATED USAID-FUNDED PROJECT IN VIETNAM
Chemonics International Inc., a global consulting and international development firm, seeks qualified and highly motivated candidates for long-term positions on the anticipated USAID-funded Improving Private Sector Competitiveness activity. This upcoming activity aims to remove constraints and build the competitiveness of small and growing businesses (SGBs) in Vietnam, especially those led by vulnerable populations. We are seeking individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.
Chemonics seeks technical specialists with expertise in the following areas:
- Private sector development and engagement
- Institutional, SME, and/or business cluster capacity building and training
- Business innovation, technology transformations, and intellectual property
- Supply chain strengthening
- Business enabling environment and policy reform
- Entrepreneurial ecosystem building
- Public-Private Partnerships
- Access to finance and/or responsible investment
- Strategic communications and outreach
- Monitoring, evaluation, and learning
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in economics, business administration, finance, public policy, or a relevant field is required. An advanced degree is preferred.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience required in private sector development, trade facilitation, investment, and/or a relevant technical area.
- Experience working on or with donor-funded programs is strongly preferred.
- Experience working on or with initiatives focused on supporting women- and/or ethnic minority owned-businesses highly desirable.
- Professional verbal and written proficiency in English is required.
