1. Function, position

Tourism Communication & Branding - Swiss Tourism for Sustainable Development – ST4SD

2. Superior authority

  • On day_to_day affairs: Managers of Component 2 and 3 (CM)
  • On employment conditions: Director

3. Duty station

CRED office in Hanoi

4. Responsibilities

  • Internal and external communications of the ST4SD project
  • Branding and marketing of the concept of sustainable tourism and ST4SD’s deliverables

5. Duties and Tasks:

  • Work out ST4SD marketing and communication plan for 4 years
  • Develop plans for targets, indicators, budget, and implement plan content.
  • Co-ordinate with managers of component 1,2,3 and team leader to implement marketing plans to serve diverse objectives.
  • Marketing & branding communications: Identify core valued project, plan project communications, increase coverage.
  • Develop marketing communication content, images, and materials.
  • Public relations and external communication activities.
  • Develop an ecosystem on website platforms, social networks (Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, email marketing, ...) and communities.
  • Develop CI and manage website, hosting and contents on website.
  • Develop partnerships with expert individuals and businesses in the industry.
  • Participate in directing and coordinating advertising on Google, Facebook, etc. (if needed)
  • Coordinate with external marketing service providers.
  • Support the documentation, publications and printings of project materials
  • Contribute to the knowledge sharing of the project.

6. Candidate requirements

  • Postgraduated in marketing, communication, economics, journalism, or related fields.
  • At least 4 years of experience working in tourism communication, marketing, and branding; Minimum of 1 year in a team leader/management position.
  • Have knowledge in communication, marketing, and branding in tourism industry.
  • Quickly approach and updated with marketing trends.
  • Experience and interest in working in the tourism industry and/or international development are advantages.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Vietnamese and an ability to communicate clearly with a range of people from diverse

7. Reporting

The Marketer is responsible for the reporting according to the project document and to the other rules and regulations of CRED.

8. Confidentiality

The Marketer is required at all time to observe the confidentiality of CRED's policies, papers and files which cannot be disclosed to non competence people without permission of the Director.

9. Further regulations

This job description forms a binding part of the duty contract, together with the Personnel Policy Manual of CRED Vietnam. The Coordinator agrees to comply with all existing CRED Rules & Regulations.
