Call for Resumes: Trade Facilitation Specialist

DAI Global, LLC is seeking candidates for a Trade Facilitation Specialist to support the anticipated USAID-funded Trade Facilitation Activity in Vietnam, which is expected to begin in late 2018. The objectives of the program will be to achieve the simplification, harmonization, professionalization, and adoption and implementation of risk management customs approaches at the national and provincial levels to expedite cross-border trade and to enable Vietnam to implement WTO TFA commitments.

The Trade Facilitation Specialist will provide leadership on the implementation of technical activities to remove cross border trade bottlenecks, facilitate and accelerate regional trade in Vietnam.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in economics, law, business, international affairs or a related field.
• Strong record of at least seven years of professional performance in international trade.
• Experience working on or with donor-funded economic growth programs– strong preference for prior experience on USAID-funded projects;
• Proven ability to develop relationships with different partners, collaborators, and clients to ensure coordinated implementation of project activities and represent DAI;
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
