The Regional Artemisinin Resistance Initiative Project (RAI2E) in Vietnam is seeking applications to fill the following position within its Central Project Management Unit in Hanoi:

- 01 Training staff

TERMS OF REFERENCE

Job title: Project Training Staff
Duration: May 2018 – 31 December 2020
Location: Hanoi

Responsibilities and tasks:

• Assist the Director in making detailed work-plan for training activities.
• Collaborate with the provincial medical schools to develop plan for training in the project provinces. Be responsible for urging the implementation units to carry out the training, re-training and organizing communication activities
• Collaborate with the training consultants to develop training curriculum; training guidelines; organize and carry out training courses and IEC activities in the project provinces, supervise the quality of training courses.
• Make reports on training activities and submit to the Project Director.
• Work with foreign experts when necessary. Translate the documents and reports in the field in charge.
• Visit the project provinces for monitoring the training activities.
• Carry out other tasks assigned by the Director/Vice-Director of the CPMU

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Bachelor in Medicine, or Public Health;
• At least 2 - 3 years working experience in training and program management;
• Professional experience in education & training, and development project is preferable.
• Experience in designing and developing curriculum and training module;
• Good spoken and written English skills;
• Good computer skills, good command over MS Office is essential;
• Willing to undertake regular field visits and interact with different stakeholders.
