Vacancies at Chemonics International

Chemonics International seeks qualified Vietnamese national candidates for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Governance for Inclusive Growth program in Vietnam. We seek candidates to support the Government of Vietnam’s efforts to continue implementation of strong economic and inclusive growth policies .

1. Inclusive Growth Director 
·         Experienced in managerial leadership, providing technical guidance and oversight to teams working on social inclusion strategies targeting vulnerable groups in Vietnam
·         Sound understanding of the challenges faced by vulnerable groups and the required development of  inclusive policy measures, activities and programs to enhance social inclusion
2. Public Sector Accountability Advisor
·         Demonstrated experience leading teams to analyze, develop and implement  public administration reform in Vietnam
·         Working knowledge of public accountability and collaborating with civil society organizations
·         Knowledge in public auditing, expenditure management and previous work with the GVN's regulatory and oversight agencies to improve efficiency, transparency and accountability.

3. Civil Society Manager
·         Experienced in leading the planning, implementation and coordination of organizational strengthening activities within civil society organizations
·         Support civil society to liaise with ministries at the national and sub-national levels to strengthen the working relationships between these stakeholders

4. Partnerships Manager
·         Experienced in connecting and managing relationships with local and regional organizations for grants participation and management.

Qualifications
    * University degree in public administration, development studies, policy, business, finance or related degree required; Masters degree a plus.
    * Experience working with the Vietnamese government, civil society organizations, multilateral institutions (WTO, ASEAN, APEC), and/or other donors.
    * Prior USAID experience preferred; must have experience with donor and/or development-related organizations.
    * Oral and written fluency in Vietnamese and English required.
