Marie Stopes International (MSI) is a marketing focused, results oriented social enterprise. We operate efficient, effective and sustainable family planning programmes in over 40 countries worldwide, including Vietnam. The primary responsibility within these roles is to further MSI’s Goal: THE PREVENTION OF UNWANTED BIRTHS and its mission of ensuring the individual’s right to: CHILDREN BY CHOICE NOT CHANCE. We are looking for qualified candidates for the following positions:

1. Brand Communications Officer

Purpose: The Brand Communications Officer will play a key role in MSI Vietnam’s growing External Relations team. They will be responsible for developing this new role and ensuring that MSI Vietnam’s brand and messages are communicated to our wide range of stakeholders and clients in Vietnam, as well as offering communications advice and guidance to other MSIVN teams.


- Master degree in communications, journalism, media, or a related field.
- Fluent in English (both spoken and written)
- Experience: 3 – 5 years experience in:
    * Managing and communicating brands
    * Using marketing research and analysis techniques and tools to inform decision making
    * Development of publications and marketing material on time and within budget
    * Writing and editing copy for a variety of audiences
    * Delivering integrated messages and campaigns across a variety of offline and online channels, including emerging technologies and social media
    * Managing relationships with communication agencies and stakeholders
    * Knowledge of current communications methods

2. Communications Assistant

Purpose: The Communications Assistant will support brand integrity and brand communication activities under guidance of MSIVN’s communications strategy. This includes event organisation, press and media management for all MSIVN’s service provision channels.


Bachelor degree in communications, journalism, media, or a related field Graduating from the Academy of Journalism,Communication and Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam would be an advantage. Fluent in English (both spoken and written)


    * Developing and implementing creative communications activities involving both traditional and new media. Conceptual ability to develop creative outreach through technology; expertise in video, podcasts, blogs, and web design and search engine optimisation is highly desirable
    * Experience in strategic communications, preferably for a international organization.
    * Previous experience in marketing/PR agencies or public-interest organizations desirable;
    * Knowledge of current communications methods
