Vacancies at Pact

Pact is seeking candidates to fill in the following positions based in Bangkok for the USAID-funded Mekong Partnership for the Environment (MPE) project in Asia.

1.       Chief of Party (COP):

The COP will lead the overall management and direction of the Partnership.  S/he is responsible for technical leadership and administrative oversight of the program and will serve as the principal institutional representative and liaison to USAID and other project stakeholders.   Key qualifications for the position include strong leadership skills, management experience (with USAID projects preferred), excellent representational and public speaking skills, regional experience and knowledge, and understanding of civil society, particularly with regards to policy reform and environmental issues.  For further details and to apply, please click on the following link:

2.       Civil Society and Networking Advisor

3.       Digital Communications Officer

The Digital Communications Officer is the lead technology advisor and manager for Partnership on-line communications, platforms and other e-products.  S/he will advise and oversee the design, development and maintenance of an online learning platform, social media, e-blasts and other MPE on-line applications to engage partners and other target groups.  S/he will work with MPE component leads and engage technical support and freelancers as required.  S/he will also oversee and liaise with Pact Thailand IT support consultants and firms.   For further details and to apply, please click on the following link:

4.       Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Advisor

The Monitoring and Evaluation Advisor provides technical direction and assistance for all program monitoring and evaluation activities.  S/he will lead the design and implementation of the Performance Monitoring Plan (PMP) and M&E plans.  S/he will also adapt and develop relevant M&E tools, formats, lead the provision of M&E specific training, and support the program implementation team.  For further details and to apply, please click on the following link:

5.       Sr. Finance Officer

The Mekong Partnership for the Environment  is a new four-year (2013-2017) initiative implemented by a multi-stakeholder consortium led by Pact and including the Stockholm Environment Institute, Wildlife Conservation Society, Internews and East West Management Institute, as well as other  partners.  The Partnership aims to increase multi-stakeholder access to regional platforms to improve environmental outcomes on regional development projects.  Based out of Pact’s Thailand office in Bangkok, the project covers Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos and Myanmar.
