WWF was one of the first International non-government organizations working in Vietnam. In 1985, WWF began working on a national conservation strategy and since then has worked closely with the Vietnamese Government on a diverse range of environment issues and implemented field activities across the country.

We are looking for experienced candidates for the following 4 positions:

1. PROJECT FINANCE OFFICER (base in Hanoi or Hochiminh, Vietnam)

Major functions:  Responsible for the financial management, planning, and financial overview of WWF projects and programmes ensuring approved policies, procedures and Network and Donors Standards are adhered to with the aim to increase operational efficiencies and effectiveness.

Key requirements for the role include:

  • University degree in an appropriate subject (business, finance, economics, or accounting).
  • Minimum five years of financial, project management, and/or accounting experience within an international organization with complex donor requirements or multinational company.
  • Developed financial management/accounting skills are essential.       
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to set priorities, complete work with minimal supervision, and meet deadlines.
  • Able to work with multiple demands. Experience of working in a multicultural environment.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills and adaptive planning skills. Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced IT skills, particularly knowledge of Microsoft Office software. Oracle ERP experience would also be a strong asset

2. ACCOUNTANT, GENERAL LEDGE AND REPORTING (base in Hanoi, Vietnam)

Major functions:  Coordinate the monthly closing of all Sub-ledgers and Primary General Ledger in Oracle Light. Ensures timely and accurate submission of quarterly management reports. Maintains and develops the continual financial control processes. Responsible to oversee the quality and completeness of data.

Key requirements for the role include:

  • A degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in accounting and finance. General Accounting or GL experience will be an added advantage.
  • Good knowledge of IFRS, IAS and GAAP.
  • Confident, mature and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and accounting skills with ability to set priorities, complete work to high standards with minimal supervision, and meet deadlines.
  • Good interpersonal and communications skills are required to work in an organisation with wide range of staff from functions.
  • Knowledge of Oracle or any ERP software an advantage

3. ACCOUNTANT, ACCOUNTS PAYABLE (base in Hanoi, Vietnam)

Major functions:  Processing supplier invoices, other payment requests and a portfolio of expense claims, ensuring compliance with WWF GM and donors’ policies & procedures.  Effecting payments via e-banking software. Preparing and following up on VAT reclaims. Accounting for provisions and prepayments.

Key requirements for the role include:

  • A degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 1- 3  years of working experience in accounting and finance. Accounts payable experience will be an added advantage;      
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills are required to work in an organisation with wide range of staff from difference cultures and functions;
  • Excellent team player, diplomatic, and an aptitude for solving problems in a logical, constructive way;
  • The position demands flexibility, initiative, attention to detail, strong organisational skills

4. ORACLE SPECIALIST, REPORTING AND COMPLIANCE (base in Hanoi, Vietnam)

Major functions: Acts as the subject-matter expert for all modules for Oracle Light, Noetix and Tableau and is accountable for making sure it remains cohesive and integrated. Coordinates the design of financial reports needed by the country offices using data in the Oracle. Provides training on all ORACLE modules and on the use these financial reports

Key requirements for the role include:

  • A degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • At least 3 years of experience working in accounting and finance with excellent ERP working knowledge and good experience with various reporting tools.
  • Prior audit experience would be an advantage.
  • Excellent computer skills (extensive experience with Oracle, reporting software and MS Excel is essential).
  • Knowledge and ability to undertake the administration of a reporting solution, preferably Noetix
  • Problem solving, root cause identification and process design skills.
  • Strong analytical and decision making abilities.
  • Proven interpersonal and communication skills & ease with colleagues from many different cultures.
  • Good organizational and planning skills.
