Volunteer Lecturer

When Australian resident Andrew Souto first visited Vietnam in 2005 he saw a country struggling to develop its automotive repair industry and also witnessed the plight of street kids who come from rural areas to make money in the city to send home to their families.

As a qualified motor mechanic, Andrew decided the best way to help these kids was by sharing his skills. In 2008 with support from the Volunteer International Development Australian Program (VIDA) and Australian NGO Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation, Andrew established a motorbike rental and repair business like no other.

VIP Bikes is a not for profit Social Enterprise, meaning profits generated by the rental service are recycled back into the project. VIP Bikes’ mission is to create a high-quality training center in a supportive and caring environment for street kids and disadvantaged young people in Vietnam.

We are looking for a volunteer motorbike (both of Vietnamese and foreigner) mechanical technology lecturer.

Working time: Part time (it will be flexible as your schedule)

Main duties: 
- Teach disadvantaged kids theory of motorbike mechanic repair
- Do all of things of class preparation
- Take responsibility for his/her class.

Requirements
- Has good knowledge of repairing motorbike (theory)
- Be able to follow the VIP Bikes’ rules and regulations.
- Has positive working attitude, punctual, honest and reliable.
- Prefer to the candidate who has good experience in teaching motorbike mechanic repair.(theory)

Work environment and benefits:
- Volunteer lecturers will work at classroom in level 3 of VIP Bikes building.
- Volunteer lecturers will be supported all of necessary equipments to serve the lesson in the best way.
- VIP Bikes will have the best support for volunteer lecturer in the necessary situations.
