Terms of Reference
Wildlife Crime Unit Intelligence Analyst
Position: Intelligence Analyst
Location: Hanoi, Vietnam
Reports to: Director of Law Enforcement Operations
Main duties
- Utilize information from investigations, criminal case records, informants, and other sources to map criminal operations and detect links and patterns using analytical software and other tools in use by ENV
- Prepare detailed research and analysis on criminal networks and their operations in the form of regular reports and briefings to the ENV Director of Law Enforcement Operations
- Present findings in the form of intelligence briefings and presentations to law enforcement agencies as needed
- Complete other duties and assignments relevant to ENV’s efforts to combat wildlife crime as specified by the ENV Director of Law Enforcement Operations
Required skills
- Superb English writing and communication skills
- Proficiency in performing research and analysis
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and pay close attention to details and produce highly accurate work
- Computer literacy: Word, excel, Power Point, and analytical software [training provided]
Preferred
- Experience working with law enforcement
- Previous experience performing criminal investigative analysis
- Knowledge and experience using advanced software
