Youth Development Program Officers

Live&Learn is looking for 1-2 qualified candidates for the positions of Youth Development Program Officer to support its meaningful work in sustainability education for young people, schools, businesses and communities. Established in Vietnam in January 2009, Live&Learn’s mission is to reduce poverty and foster greater understanding and action towards a sustainable future through education, community mobilization and supportive partnerships. Live&Learn is also a member of Live&Learn Environmental Education (www.livelearn.org), with rich working experience in sustainable community development and education in the Asia-Pacific.
The Youth Development Program Officer will be responsible for facilitating network and developing capacity building programs on environment and development for young people and other stakeholders in schools, business and communities. The successful candidate will have chance to enjoy a dynamic and creative working environment and contribute his/her part to the works of sustainable development.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENT
• University degree, preferably in social sciences or related fields
• Working experience with youths or in NGOs is an advantage
• Excellent spoken and written English and Vietnamese
• Good computer applications and social networking skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Facebook...)
• A strong interest in sustainable development, from environmental to governance topics
• A passion for interactive training delivery and materials development
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, tasks and deadlines efficiently
• Responsible, honesty, enthusiasm and willingness to learn
• Ability to work effectively as a team member and work independently
