Vacancy: Youth Employment ICT Officer
Based in Hochiminh Office

Main Responsibilities:

Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality (AR/VR) Learner is an idea developed in conjunction with Accenture Development Partners in 2017 to use augmented reality and virtual reality to enhance workforce development training. Save the Children is working with Accenture to build and test a workable high-fidelity prototype of the AR/VR Learner in Vietnam. The ICT Officer will be the country point person for the US-based project manager for this initiative and will provide oversight of the AR/VR Learner pilot design and implementation, in addition to supporting the project team on ICT overall.

Key Competencies:

  • At least 2-year experience as a product manager for mobile applications or full lifecycle software development
  • Experience working with and managing both technical and non-technical partners
  • Experience managing subcontractors
  • Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies
  • Strong organizational skills and presentation skills, including ability to communicate technical/ICT concepts to non-technical staff
  • Ability to work effectively with people of diverse backgrounds
  • Very good skills in communicating in English and Vietnamese
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to and understanding of SCI mission, values and principles including rights-based approaches
