The National Fund for Vietnamese Children has raised $4.2 million from over 60 organizations and individuals to support children in special and difficult circumstances in 2025, according to a charity event called “Spring for Children” held in Hanoi December 19.
Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan said the Fund has raised $66.8 million over the past 18 years to help millions of disadvantaged children across the country access education, healthcare, and better living conditions. But 6.7% of children in special circumstances require ongoing support, she said.
“I hope that through this program, authorities, organizations, families, and individuals will continue to support the care, education, and protection of children,” said Vice President Xuan.
Practical action will help all children benefit from 40 years of national renewal, enabling them to develop fully and contribute to Vietnam’s goal of becoming a global leader, Xuan added. (VOVWorld)
