200-kilogram Wartime Bomb Found in Vietnam Central Province

A 200-kilogram wartime bomb was detected in Ky Phong commune, Ky Anh district in Vietnam’s central province of Ha Tinh when people dredged the Bai Sao dam for irrigation.

The bomb is 1.6 m long, 25 cm in diameter, located under the Bai Sao dam at a depth of about 40 cm. The bomb was pulled to the ground and is waiting for the functional forces to move the bomb to the place of detonation.

In the past ten years, this is the largest bomb discovered locally. (Thanhnien, VnExpress)
