2015 Call for Proposals for Land Governance Innovations
Mekong Region Land Governance Project - MRLG Grant Facility

The Mekong Region Land Governance Project supported by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) invites proposals from organizations interested to work in partnerships to pursue innovative interventions to improve the tenure security of family farmers in Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam. The MRLG will fund innovative interventions selected through a transparent and competitive process. Proposals must be written in English and submitted electronically to [email protected] not later than 5:00 PM (Vientiane time) on 1st May 2015. Applications received after the deadline will be rejected.

Applications that are incomplete and do not comply with the requirements will be rejected.

The Innovation Fund (IF) grant window will provide funding up to a maximum of US$250,000 and can be implemented over a period of up to 24 months. The IF aims to provide grants that develop, demonstrate, promote or adopt innovative practices that can influence policy or be expanded and integrated into regular practices through mainstream budgets or alternative funding sources.

Application Timetable

2 March:  Publication of Call for Proposal
1 May:  Deadline for submission of Capsule Proposals
4 May - 12 June: Review and Evaluation Period
15 June: Invitation to submit full proposal for shortlisted projects
15 July: Deadline for Submission of Full Proposal
16 July – 14: Selection and Approval of IF Grants (indicative)
