270 Firms to Join Vietnam Water Supply, Wastewater Treatment Expo Today

More than 270 businesses from 30 countries and territories worldwide will attend an international exhibition on water supply and drainage, water filter technologies and wastewater treatment (Vietwater 2013) in Ho Chi Minh City on Oct 16-18. The three-day event, co-held by the Vietnam Water Supply and Sewerage Association (VWSA) and the Southeast Asian Water Utilities Network (SEAWUN), attracted many exhibitors from countries such as Japan, the Netherlands, France and Belgium. The event, which will showcase a wide range of services, technologies, systems, purification processes and equipment for the Integrated Water & Wastewater Industry, will focus on water management, sewerage and pollution prevention, irrigation, industrial wastewater treatment, ultra pure water and bottled water production. The expo is expected to help Vietnam deal with the country’s urgent needs of clean water supply and industrial wastewater treatment in efforts to protect valuable water resources and environment amid the severe depletion.
