Australia to Fund $1.46M for Five Innovative Projects in Vietnam

Five innovative and practical projects in Vietnam, which co-led by teams from Australia and Vietnam, will receive more than AUD2 million ($1.46 million) of funding from the Australia government, the Australian Embassy in Vietnam announced on September 17. It is the second and final funding round of the Aus4Innovation Partnership Grants program, following the successful first round in 2019, with three projects provided with a total of more than AUD1.63 million. The five projects, which were selected from 82 applications, will be able to scale up their innovative ideas and create sustainable economic and social impact. Notably, the project of the environmental monitoring system for mangrove aquaculture in Vietnam’s southern Ca Mau province will receive AUD500,623. Aus4Innovation Partnership Grants is an important part of the four-year flagship Aus4Innovation program to help strengthen the Vietnamese innovation system and prepare for Vietnam’s economic and digital future.
