Dengue Fever Cases in Vietnam Hanoi +2.7 Fold y/y to 28,483 since Early 2023

Vietnam’s capital city of Hanoi has recorded 28,483 dengue fever cases since early 2023, up 2.7% y/y, according to the municipal Center for Disease Prevention and Control.

During the period, the city logged four dengue deaths and 1,520 dengue fever clusters, comprising 233 active ones.

Infections are on the rise. In the last six weeks, Hanoi has had more than 2,500 dengue cases on average. The total number of dengue patients under treatment at health facilities has stood at 2,869 to date.
