Hanoi Announces Detailed Plan for Major Water Project

The Hanoi Department of Zoning and Architecture on December 1 announced the scale 1/500 zoning plan for the Duong river water treatment plant in Gia Lam District, which will contribute to providing more clean water for Hanoi and nearby provinces such as Hung Yen and Bac Ninh, the Vietnam News Agency reports. The plant will cover around 60 hectares and cost VND4.99 trillion ($220.3 million). It is expected to be carried out in two phases starting from the middle of next year.
