Hanoi to Provide Free Rector Cancer Screening for People Over 40: Mayor

Hanoi is planning to provide free rector cancer screening for people over 40 once a year, according to chairman of city’s People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung. Mr. Chung made the proposal in a working session on health with Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam. The city will pilot the screening in Dien Bien and Nguyen Trung Truc streets from now until the end of March and will launch it city-wide from April. Mr. Chung proposed using extra funds from health insurance for the activity.
