HCM City Launches Campaign for The Poor

The HCM City chapter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in co-ordination with the city's Department of Health on Wednesday kicked off a campaign to provide free healthcare services to poor people in the city. Under the campaign, public and private hospitals and clinics are encouraged to offer health check-ups and treatment to at least 10 poor patients each per month. The campaign also calls for support from health officials to purchase health insurance cards for poor patients. (Vietnam News Sept 6)
