HKI's Notice of Asset Donation


Following the progress of our country office close-out, Helen Keller International-Vietnam would like to donate asset items to NGOs/non-profit organizations who are in need.

In particular, we invite NGOs/non-profit organizations active in Vietnam to apply for a donation of our used asset items. These items will be donated to one or more organizations on an ‘as-is, where-is’ condition, with no warranty or guarantee from Helen Keller Intl Vietnam. All of the to-be-donated items are available in Helen Keller Intl Hanoi Office located at Room 305-306, A2 Building, Van Phuc Diplomatic Compound, 298 Kim Ma, Ba Dinh Dist., Hanoi, Vietnam. Please refer to the attached asset list for more details.

Requirements: Applicant organization should provide:

  • Proof of organization’s legal and charitable/non-profit status.
  • A letter requesting donation for brief description of purpose(s) for which the equipment will be used.
  • Recipient(s) will be responsible for any moving or installation/uninstallation cost.
  • Recipient(s) are required to sign and stamp a donation form in accordance with Helen Keller Int’l’ asset management guidelines.
  • All submissions should be in English, signed and sealed, and can be submitted in hard copy or electronically as an attachment in PDF format to email [email protected] with copy (cc) to: [email protected].

Notes: You can request for one, some or all items listed, but if there are more than 01 applicant for a certain item, the following criteria are applied:

  • First come, first serve.
  • Usage purpose and anticipated positive social and economic impacts of equipment use (E.g., For tablets, the priority goes to an organization doing research work – further proof may be requested)
  • Each selected organization will receive no more than 4 items, so please list the items in the priority order (in case we need to consider more than 1 applicant)

Closing date for application: 5:00 PM, Wednesday, June 22nd, 2022

Notice about the final selection will be sent to the selected organizations by 5:00 PM, Wednesday, June 29th, 2022

Items are expected to be ready for collection in late June or early July 2022.
