Holland Offers Scholarships for Students Worldwide, Including Vietnam

The Netherlands is calling for applications for its Holland Scholarship, which is meant for international students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Scholarships for students who want to do their bachelor’s and master’s in the Netherlands amount to EUR5,000 ($5,600) each, according to the studyinholland.nl website. The grants will be handed over to students in the first year of their studies. The Holland Scholarship is financed by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and 48 Dutch research universities and universities of applied sciences, according to the website. The scholarship aims to help students benefit from one of the best education systems in the world, with more than 2,100 English-taught programs; to share in the famous Dutch entrepreneurial spirit; to participate in interactive education; to become an innovative and creative thinker; as well as to be part of an international community. Candidates are required to have non-EEA nationality to apply for a full-time bachelor’s or master’s at one of the scholarship’s participating Dutch higher education institutions, meet the specific requirements of the institution of their choice. Those having studied at an education institution in the Netherlands before will not be accepted.
