KOICA to Fund $30M for Education Projects in Central Vietnam

The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) has pledged to provide over $30 million in official development assistance (ODA) for Vietnam to carry out some education projects in central Vietnam. The projects include one on upgrading Vietnam-South Korea Technological College in Danang and the other on upgrading Central Highlands Vocational College for Ethnic Youth. Over the past decades, the KOICA has funded many education projects in Vietnam to support the country’s efforts to improve its training quality. Since 1991, the KOICA has provided Vietnam with around $20 million by grant. By sector, the agency concentrated aid in the areas of education, health and governance.
