Large Bomb Defused in Quang Binh

The Military Commander Board in the central province of Quang Binh's Tuyen Hoa district successfully defused a large bomb on March 11. The bomb, a war remnant measuring 1.8m in length and 0.85m in diameter, was located near the Ho Chi Minh Trail. It was found buried in the ground by a family in Huong Hoa district's Tan Ap hamlet on Sunday, while they were building a house. The family immediately called for help. The board, in co-ordination with the provincial Mines Advisory Group, removed the bomb to a safe area and defused it. (http://vietnamnews.vn/ March 11)
