Museum of Muong Ethnic Group Opens

A new private museum featuring traditional Muong ethnic culture has opened in the northern province of Hoa Binh. This is the second private museum in the province and the 24th in the country. Owned by culturist Bui Thanh Binh, the museum hosts studies on Muong culture, while collecting and preserving objects, along with food fairs and cultural events. Located in Thai Binh Ward, the museum has 5,000 objects, including 100 ancient gongs, on display. (Vietnam News Apr 10)
