NGOs Provide $250M Aid to Vietnam in 2013

Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) provided a combined $250 million aid to Vietnam in 2013 to help the country boost its socio-economic development. The amount was distributed to healthcare, education, environment, socio-economic development and charity in 63 cities and provinces over the year, contributing to policy making in the country. Currently, about 250 NGOs are working in the Southeast Asian country.  (www.vietnamplus.vn Dec 31, Ha Noi Moi Jan 1 p8)
