RMIT Vietnam Awards Students $1.2M Worth of Scholarships

RMIT Vietnam has announced the winners of 98 scholarships with a value of more than VND27.5 billion ($1.2 million) to prospective and current students, state media reported. The scholarships, which are allocated in 12 categories and cover 100%, 50% and 25% of tuition fees, are offered in a variety of subject areas including business, technology, design, communication, fashion, as well as logistics and supply chain management. RMIT Vietnam’s president Professor Gael McDonald said giving back to the community through the scholarship program has been a priority of the university since its founding in 2001. To date RMIT Vietnam has awarded approximately 890 scholarships valued at more than VND205 billion. RMIT University Vietnam, which was founded in 2001, is an Asian campus of University RMIT - Australia's biggest tertiary institution. RMIT Vietnam offers programs from business and management to design and micro engineering, and boasts an impressive range of extra-curricular activities that encourage students to break new ground in their areas of interest.
