Thua Thien – Hue Province Distributes 1,000 Tonnes of Rice to Poor

The central province of Thua Thien – Hue has distributed 1,000 tonnes of rice from the central assistance reserve to families who were affected by flood, poor families and those who are in danger of lacking food in between crop periods. The rice will be allocated to Hue City (125 tonnes), Huong Thuy town (70 tonnes), Nam Dong district (40 tonnes), Phu Vang district (175 tonnes), Phu Loc district (145 tonnes, Quang Dien district (120 tonnes), Phong Dien district (115 tonnes), and Huong Tra and A Luoi districts (100 tonnes each). Provincial border soldiers have also received 10 tonnes of rice to assist people in the Vietnam – Laos border gate areas while some enterprises have brought Vietnamese goods to rural areas to satisfy people’s demand during the lunar New Year.
