Two Bombs Safely Removed from Residential Area in Ninh Thuan Province

Military officers in Vietnam’s south-central province of Ninh Thuan have have finished moving two bombs with a combined weight of 629 kilograms away from a residential area. A 454-kilogram bomb MK83, was found at quarter 1, Bao An ward, Phan Rang - Thap Cham city, while a 175-kilogram bomb MK81 was found in Nhon Hai commune, Ninh Hai district. The two bombs were left over from wartime and rusted, so they were highly dangerous. The two bombs were then transported to Do mountain, Phuoc Vinh commune, Ninh Phuoc district to detonate.
