UNDP Commits Support for Vietnam in Pursuing Socio-Econ Strategies

The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) commits contributions to the building and implementation of the Vietnamese socio-economic development schemes, UNDP Resident Representative in Vietnam Caitlin Wiesen told the state-run Vietnam News Agency. The talks took place in the context that Vietnam has been compiling documents for the 13th National Party Congress that determine the growth of Vietnam in the next five and ten years. It is important for Vietnam to direct towards the quality, inclusion, and sustainability of growth, Ms. Caitlin Wiesen stressed. Lauding Vietnam’s achievements in human development, COVID-19 pandemic curtailment, and economic development last year, the UNDP official said that this year, the Southeast Asian country has firm principles to thrive.
