Unexploded Bomb Discovered in Thua Thien-Hue

A single unexploded bomb has been detected in the garden of a local resident in Son Thuy commune, A Luoi district, Thua Thien-Hue province. A resident named Hoang Thai informed the military that he had found an unexploded bomb on April 5. The bomb was discovered after being dug up as part of land being cleared to build a new house. Thai said that he has been living in fear as the two metre long bomb he found in the garden four days ago has yet to be removed. Senior Colonel Nguyen Hong Son from the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Military Command said that on April 8 the bomb clearance team will remove the bomb to a safe place in order for it to be defused immediately.
