U.S. to Help Build $300M Hospital in Southern Vietnam Next Year

The U.S. IMI Hospital will provide technical supports for the construction of a $300 million hospital in Vietnam’s southern province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau in the first quarter of 2011, the Dau Tu newspaper reported Dec 3. The 500-sickbed hospital, covering on 39,000 square meters in Vung Tau city’s Ward 11, will include specialties of cancer, cardiopathy and brain tumors,  The facility, which is the first digital international multi-hospital in the province, will offer technical assistance to hospitals nationwide using telemedicine services.
