U.S. Supports Vietnam in Improving Testing Skills of Edu Experts, Teachers

The U.S. Educational Testing Service (ETS) will partner with Vietnam’s Ministry of Education and Training (MoET) to enhance the testing skills of nearly 3,600 Vietnamese educational experts and teachers nationwide, state media reported.

The information was unveiled at the training course’s opening ceremony on December 11, featuring Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Education and Training Pham Ngoc Thuong and CEO of the ETS Amit Sevak.

The training program will be held online at 76 connection points in Vietnam from December 11 to December 17. It is one of the activities to realize the memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the MoET and the ETS signed in September 2022.

The program will include seven training sessions to improve testing capacity and coach the building of question banks for those doing testing work at the MoET, the departments of education and training, and universities in Vietnam.
