Vietnam’s Foreign Non-Governmental Organization Aid Hits $228.6M in 2023
The disbursed foreign non-governmental organization aid to Vietnam reached over $228.6 million in 2023, marking a $4.9 million increase compared to 2022, focusing on areas and regions that Vietnam needs, local media reported.
The Committee for Foreign Non-governmental Organization Affairs announced the figure at a conference in Hanoi last week to review the work in 2023 and discuss directions and tasks for 2024.
The Committee said that it had consistently developed plans aligned with reality, actively supported foreign NGOs, ensured compliance with legal regulations, and provided technical advice and input for foreign NGO activities.
