Vietnam’s State Budget Collection Hits 97.7% of Estimate by Nov 15: GSO

As of November 15, the total state budget collection reached VND1,312.9 trillion ($56.59 billion), equaling 97.7% of the year-plan thanks to the recovery of production and import-export activities in the new normal, according to the General Statistics Office (GSO). In particular, state budget received VND1,075.8 trillion from domestic collection, equal to 94.9% of the year estimate, including VND139.2 trillion from state-owned enterprises and VND187.5 trillion from foreign-invested enterprises, excluding crude oil. Total state budget expenditure hit VND1,212.3 trillion, equaling 71.9% of the estimate, prioritizing the pandemic prevention, national defense, and security. Of which, recurrent and development expenditure were VND845.1 trillion and VND270.2 trillion, equaling 81.5% and 56.6% of total spending, respectively. (Hanoi Moi, BizLIVE)
