Vietnam among World’s Safest Countries during COVID-19 Outbreak: Forbes

The U.S.’ Forbes magazine has ranked Vietnam 20th among the safest countries in the world in the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak, with 316 out of the total current 332 infection cases recovering and no deaths being recorded to date, local media reported. In the ranking, Switzerland became the safest while South Sudan was the riskiest. The ranking is based on 130 standards and 11,400 data points from Hong Kong-based Deep Knowledge Group. YouGov, an international Internet-based market research and data analytics firm, has also rated Vietnam’s anti-disease response the most effective among the 22 surveyed countries/territories. As of June 10 morning, Vietnam spent 55 consecutive days without COVID-19 community infection cases, the Ministry of Health (MoH) said. (CafeF, Kenh14)
